Inventors Workshop in Downtown McKinney, TX
On Wednesday March 30th – “Inventors” will be opening its Inventors Workshop in downtown McKinney, Texas with a seminar covering “Design to Cost.” The “Inventors Workshop” is located at 201 ½ East Virginia Suite 4, just off of the square in downtown McKinney, TX. The workshop area is set up to train inventors and entrepreneurs in the principles of the 3 core manuals that Inventors is offering now. The manuals are:
1. Design to Cost for Inventors and Entrepreneurs
2. 21st Century Invention – (Principles of speed to design, proofing, and patent documentation)
3. Finance for Inventors and Entrepreneurs
Using Design to Cost Principles will insure that the quality of your idea for developing a commercial product works. Design to Cost analyzes the marketability of the idea and analyzes the cost goals of each step of the product’s creation. Using the steps of Design to Cost you will analyze your technology and market curves, set proper cost goals, develop a plan for cost effective proofing, set up channels to take you products to market, and plan for any necessary breakthroughs. Design to Cost will greatly improve your chances for success in the market place and insure a successful commercial launch.
Don’t be the inventor who overlooks “Design to Cost Methods.” You may be good at good at proving out your ideas feasibility and documenting the uniqueness of your patents claims, but this does not take into account the elements needed for commercial success. You need to work on the location of your invention in the marketplace and its cost relative to other products of similar complexity. Design to Cost has to start with the actual generation of ideas and then precede stair-step toward the final placement of the product on the store’s shelf. If you miss place your product in the market, or cost it too high for a profit you end up losing good business opportunity and possibly a great deal of money. Check out our calendar and sigh up for the Design to Cost Class on Wednesday, March 30th.
