Design to Cost

Design to Cost is a system of analysis that every inventor and entrepreneur needs to know!  Design to Cost (DTC) will help you save $$$$ in your evaluation of ideas, and your prototype to manufacturing process with the most efficient methods for evaluating new ideas and bringing them to market.  Design to cost will transfer your urgency for commercializing your product by teaching you the analysis methods for developing vision, building cost models for new product, and the most cost effective method for delivery of a new product to the marketplace. 

The principles of Design to Cost, as taught by “Inventors” were perfected by Dr. Granville Ott, one of the early computer pioneers, who while working for Texas Instruments on development of the early seismic computers and computers used in the home during the 1960s and 1970s was able to work out the principles of low cost and fast product introductions.  Dr. Ott was one of the founders of Design to Cost analysis and he makes the DTC analysis and discipline available to you through “Inventors” manuals and training.
